Estate Administration
We provide estate probate and administration in Westmoreland and Armstrong Counties, Pennsylvania. From helping you understand the impact of your loved one’s different assets and their recipients on the estate to guiding you through the probate process from open to close, we have the knowledge to make the whole process as easy as possible. Our attorney fees for estate administration are based off of the Johnson Estate graduated fee table below. Being that every estate is different, we cannot provide an exact timeline to complete administration but generally the process would be at least nine (9) months to over one (1) year.
***ANY ADVERTISED FEE SHALL BE HONORED FOR NINETY(90) DAYS FROM THE DATE OF LAST ADVERTISEMENT. IN ADDITION TO FEES FOR LEGAL SERVICES, THE CLIENT SHALL BE LIABLE TO THE ATTORNEY FOR ANY COSTS OR EXPENSES ADVANCED, SUCH AS PROBATE FEES, FILING FEES, POSTAGE, AND PUBLICATION OF ESTATE ADVERTISEMENT.
Orphans’ Court Litigation
Unfortunately, administering your loved one’s estate does not always go as planned and sometimes conflict may arise between the personal representative (executor or administrator) and the heirs or beneficiaries. We’re here to help with the knowledge to pursue or defend removal of a personal representative, appealing probate of a will, or seeking an accounting of the estate.
***Please note, the attorney’s fees for Orphans’ Court litigation is generally not included in the estate administration fee calculated under the Johnson Estate graduated fee. The attorney fee for Orphans’ Court litigation will be billed at the attorney’s prevailing hourly rate, in addition to any costs or expenses advanced by the attorney. If you are currently being represented in estate probate and administration, please review the scope of your engagement agreement for details and restrictions to your current representation.
